Receiving Inspector

Prepares and organizes product and/or material for internal processes and/or delivery to outside vendors. In addition, verifies and inspects all incoming material then processes material and paperwork according to established guidelines.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Prepares material and product daily for expediting to external vendors
• Routes material and product for internal processes such as blast, assembly, etc.
• Loads information into Macola system to reflect location of material/product (WIP, Black Oxide, Weld, Finished Goods, etc.)
• Counts material and product for accuracy during process
• Marks material for identification and traceability purposes according to established guidelines and processes
• Moves material and product to assigned location
• Responsible for checking and/or requesting certs for all new product
• Processes all paperwork associated with department and either logs into the Macola system or on corresponding spreadsheet or both
• Provides inventory control by accurately entering data into Macola
•  Keeps dock, receiving area and processing areas clean and orderly
• Responsible for managing the MTR documentation process including; filing, correspondence and logging information onto excel spreadsheet
• Process RMA’s in Macola

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED

• Strong aptitude with numbers and figures
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to read blue prints and or work orders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good communication skills
• Highly organized
• Detail Oriented
• Strong computer skills

PREFERRED

• Minimum 3 years previous manufacturing and/or quality experience
• The ability to use measuring instruments (dial indicators, gauges, etc.)
